Eye on Display looks back at this year’s event over three days with highlights from the Explains Lounge, hosted by our own Jack Gocher.
The BSGA
“Sign & Digital UK was a fantastic few days for us at BSGA!” says Craig Brown, BSGA chairman. “We had the chance to connect with so many people across the signage and print industry – catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and having some great conversations about where the industry is headed.”
The show provided the perfect platform for the association to launch its questionnaire, which aims to hear directly from the industry. The questionnaire aims to discover what is working and what is not and how the BSGA can better support signage professionals. Craig continues, “A huge thank you to everyone who took part. And congratulations to JW Signs, who won a year’s free BSGA membership for completing our survey.”

The feedback gathered will help to shape what the BSGA does next, making sure the organisation is focusing on what really matters to the industry.
Linda Edwards, managing director of BSGA commented, “Sign & Digital UK was an incredible opportunity to meet professionals from across the signage and digital print industries. Engaging with both members and non-members reinforced the importance of collaboration and the role of the BSGA in supporting and championing best practices. The feedback we received will be instrumental in shaping future initiatives, and we’re excited about the impact these discussions will have in 2025 and beyond.”

Sign Trade Supplies
Sign Trade Supplies had a fantastic time at the exhibition, connecting with customers and showcasing innovative solutions like the KOPA system and Decro wood-effect aluminium. There was a lot of interest in how these products can help businesses create high-quality, durable signage with ease. The event also offered a valuable opportunity to see printers and machinery in action, some demonstrations offering a first-time, hands-on experience for many.

Garrick Dartnell, head of marketing at Sign Trade Supplies commented, “The event had such a great atmosphere. It was brilliant to meet people in person, catch up with customers, and make new connections. It’s always valuable to see what’s happening in other areas of the industry too.”
Premier
Premier created a café with a twist as their stand. At first glance, it looked and functioned much like an actual high street café. However, on closer inspection it transpired that the café had been almost entirely constructed and dressed with products from Premier’s arsenal of sign and display substrates.

“This was our most ambitious stand to date,” comments Lizzie Dodd, Premier’s Assistant Marketing Manager. “We featured around 25 products within the stand’s construction and a further 40 as printed samples. Inside the café itself almost every surface was either wrapped in self-adhesive vinyl like Drytac Paper Fleece Smooth or clad in one of our sheet media products like eTEC ACM. We even had bin units built out of Foamalux Eco Black!”
Visitors to the stand engaged with a variety of sign and display materials, in application-based settings that demonstrated their practical uses. In addition to this, Premier’s stand featured both internal and external elements, with plenty of similarly themed meeting space. As part of the external build, Premier’s contractor DCE built two sections of brick wall specifically to demonstrate Drytac Street FX’s and Polar HiGrab Air’s ability to adhere to tricky, uneven surfaces.
