Competition rocked by bone bribe scandal

Shocking bribery allegations have come to light in the Pets in Print competition- the culprit has been collared

Innotech‘s beloved annual competition, “Pets in Print,” which showcases the charismatic pets behind the UK’s leading print companies, has experienced a shocking twist this year. Graphic Warehouse, a key player in the print industry, has entered Alfie, a spirited canine belonging to the company’s owner, into the contest. However, recent developments have revealed unusual actions taken by Alfie, leading to an unforeseen scandal within this light-hearted event.

It has come to light that Alfie, in an apparent attempt to influence the competition’s outcome, has sent cheques from Barkley’s Bank to esteemed judges Jack Gocher of Eye on Display and Colin Sinclair McDermott of The Online Print Coach. These cheques were intended for the purchase of crypto dog biscuit vouchers valued at 1,000 dog biscuits.

Richard McCombe, Managing Director of Graphic Warehouse, has issued a formal apology regarding- Alfie’s actions: “We are truly embarrassed by Alfie’s recent behaviour. This was an isolated incident that does not reflect the standards and ethics upheld by our company. We sincerely apologise to Innotech Digital and Display, to the esteemed judges, and to our fellow competitors. We are committed to maintaining integrity in all our professional and promotional activities.”

Kieran Dallow issued a fur-m response, saying, “We are shocked and ap-paw-led by Alfie’s behaviour. However, in the interests of maintaining integrity and furr-ness in the com-pet-ition, we’ve been left with no option but to disqualify him. We hope this swift action will also serve as a deterrent to other com-pet-itors seeking to cheat the system.”

The action by Alfie has come to light just in time as the judging will take place later on today. Jack Gocher commented “I’m shocked by this revelation but relieved by its timing. Who’s a good boy? Not Alfie!” while Colin Sinclair McDermott said” Yes, I considered a bribe. It came in the form of a slobbery stick and unwavering eye contact. I regret nothing!” Fellow judge Carys Evans also wavered, saying, “All I can say is he picked the wrong judges to bribe – I’m the weak one”

Graphic Warehouse affirms that these actions were taken without the knowledge or approval of any company officials and starkly contrast the company’s staunch anti-corruption policies. “A full investigation into Alfie’s actions will be conducted, and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken. We respect the competition rules and fully support the decisions of the judges regarding this matter.”

This incident, while unfortunate, highlights the unexpected challenges that can arise even in the most cheerful occasions. Graphic Warehouse remains dedicated to contributing positively to the print industry and upholding the spirit of fair play and community celebrated by “Pets in Print.”
