The European sign and large format market is becoming increasingly competitive. Companies in this sector are realising the need for better workflows and healthier margins. In fact, 40% of most sign and large format orders in Europe still consist of administrative costs. Dataline addresses this with its MultiPress MIS/ERP business software.

At a time when administrative costs for most sign and large format orders in Europe remain surprisingly high, Dataline offers a powerful solution with its MIS/ERP software, MultiPress. Designed specifically for sign and large format companies, the software streamlines all business processes. According to Dataline CEO Dirk Deroo, workflow optimisation through automation is no longer optional, but a critical necessity:

“Digitalisation and automation have been entering our industry at an accelerated pace for years. Print professionals in Europe and beyond know they must automate their administrative workflows and streamline other business processes. Only then can they restore order and remain competitive. An investment in the most innovative MIS/ERP software is likely the best investment with the highest ROI they will find at FESPA 2025. We are ready to show them how to halve their administrative costs and double their margins.”

How can print companies simplify their workflow and reduce administrative costs?

MultiPress has long been known as the all-in-one, modular software that integrates all business processes of any print or sign company into one central database. Standard functionalities include CRM, e-business, estimating, communication, job tracking, planning and production, purchasing, logistics (dispatch, delivery and installation), invoicing and reporting.

The latest version, MultiPress 6.0 Sirius, features not only the new AI Assistant, MultiPress Cloud and extensive MultiPress App tools. At FESPA 2025, Dataline is also introducing a new wave of groundbreaking platform enhancements, each aimed at even stronger workflow automation.

During FESPA 2025, Dataline will launch Check & Repair Pro (Smart Onboarding), an innovative tool that checks and corrects PDF files at the moment of order intake, ensuring seamless entry into production. Using the latest ISO and GWG standards, Check & Repair Pro guarantees not only the technical quality of files (such as image resolution, bleed and colour information), but also their consistency with order data.

With a user-friendly interface and clear status icons, Check & Repair Pro provides immediate feedback on the condition of submitted files. Through the Control Cockpit in MultiPress, order managers can verify files and receive targeted system suggestions for resolving detected issues. By solving problems early, this tool prevents costly reprints and production delays. Whereas preflight checks traditionally happened later in the process, Check & Repair Pro Smart Onboarding ensures sign and large format companies can trust that their PDF files will not cause problems during production.

MultiPress continues to expand its features for administratively processing CO₂ emission data. For several years, users have been able to include the exact CO₂ emissions per print product on quotes, order confirmations or invoices, based on audit data aligned with European regulations. In addition, the CO₂ Suite generates detailed reports for companies and institutions with reporting obligations. This data processing is fully automated, so the valuable information adds no extra workload.

New in the CO₂ Suite is the addition of the “Ecoprint Score” on quotes, orders and invoices. Similar to eco-labels in other sectors or the nutriscore in food, this label provides a clear indication of the ecological footprint of printed materials. Thanks to this innovation, print companies can offer more sustainable choices, improve their margins, attract new customers and stand out in an increasingly environmentally conscious market.

For sign and large format production companies, it is clear: the power of an MIS/ERP system grows exponentially through smart workflow integrations. That is why Dataline has been working for years with a broad network of certified partners: software and hardware manufacturers, paper suppliers, technical integrators and developers. At FESPA 2025, visitors can explore a wide range of advanced workflow integrations.

The existing link with AGFA ASANTI front-end has recently been expanded. From now on, production data from AGFA large format presses is transferred to MultiPress to enrich CO₂ reports with precise data. Visitors can discover this new application live at the AGFA stand (hall 27, D60-70) and at Dataline (hall 27, stand D90).

Dataline will also demonstrate the intelligent, bidirectional link with OneVision Software (hall 25, stand C25) at FESPA. Thanks to automatic data exchange between both systems, bottlenecks between administration and production are eliminated without manual effort or delays.

In addition, Dataline will showcase integrations with exhibitors such as Antalis, Canon, Enfocus, Fuji, SwissQPrint and many others. Thanks to this extensive network, the MultiPress ecosystem continues to grow and users benefit from the best automation solutions on the market.

Dataline invites visitors to book a personal meeting and live demo of MultiPress 6.0. Pre-scheduling is recommended, as the agendas of our product specialists fill up quickly.

Dirk Deroo: “For sign and large format companies in Europe, there is no longer any excuse not to critically review their workflow. The impact on their business, cost structure and profitability is enormous. Dataline is the best-positioned partner to guide them through this process.”

Sign and large format businesses in Berlin will get exclusive insight into the most powerful administrative workflow and discover new growth opportunities. Visit the Dataline stand and experience how advanced automation can take your print production to the next level.
