The sessions will offer valuable insights and practical advice for both print industry newcomers and those looking to advance their careers.
The FESPA UK Next Generation Committee are launching an exclusive series of events, set to take place simultaneously across three locations: Scotland, the North of England, and the South of England. These events will feature a keynote speaker presenting live from one location, with the presentation streamed to the other two venues. Each event will include interactive sessions from the host company and ample networking opportunities.

The series will kick off on 23rd April, with Colin Sinclair McDermott, The Online Print Coach, who will lead an interactive seminar titled “The Top 10 Growth Mistakes Print Companies Make – and How to Avoid Them.” This seminar is designed to provide valuable insights and practical advice for both newcomers to the industry and those looking to advance their careers. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to take back to their own companies.
Following the keynote presentation, attendees will be invited into the showrooms of the host companies in each region. These sessions will offer hands-on practical experience with the latest innovations and offerings, followed by additional networking opportunities.
Micheala Christmas, an apprentice print technician at GH Display and a new member of the NextGen committee, commented, “This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for young professionals to network, gain skills, and showcase the diversity of our industry. As a new committee member, I can see the immense benefits this series offers to both young people and the businesses they work for. We encourage everyone to join us and get involved!”
Suzi Ward, Managing Director of FESPA UK, added, “The NextGen Committee has made remarkable progress over the past two years, thanks to the dedication of some incredible young professionals. It’s been wonderful to work with them and witness their development. With mentors now established across all three regions, we are excited to support the committee as they launch this new series of events. I strongly encourage businesses to send their young employees to participate.”
