Mimaki will show the new entry level roll to roll printer for the sign graphics market at FESPA, Berlin in May
Mimaki Europe introduces a new easy-to-use roll-to-roll printer the JV200-160. Using eco-solvent inks, the printer further extends Mimaki’s product portfolio for the sign graphics market.
The new JV200-160 provides several functions to improve productivity and is designed for ease of use and straightforward maintenance. Billed as an entry level printer, it achieves a practical production speed of 17.0 m²/h.
Arjen Evertse, Director Sales at Mimaki Europe, comments, “Our CJV200 Series of integrated printer/cutters, introduced last October, has been extremely well received by the market. The JV200-160 joins this product series to deliver the same exemplary image quality and top-level productivity for the entry class – now in a print-only model that’s easy to operate and maintain.”

“This new introduction provides customers with even more opportunities to easily expand their business with new print capabilities. For example, companies that already own cutting machines for post-print processing but are looking to add high-quality print while maintaining their current workflow can now benefit from this new technology. When paired with a Mimaki cutting plotter, the JV200-160 can also benefit from our unique ID Cut function, which automates print-and-cut processes with minimal operator intervention, reducing the risk of human error.”
The JV200-160 is compatible with Mimaki’s new SS22 eco-solvent ink, which is designed to reduce odour by approximately 40% (comparison with in-house ink based on Mimaki’s evaluation) and does not contain Gamma-Butyrolactone. This ink still offers outdoor weather resistance. The printer also supports Mimaki’s established SS21 ink and the new BS4 budget solvent ink, providing customers with a range of ink options to suit their production requirements.
Additional features of the JV200-160 include an Ink Saving function designed to lower ink consumption while preserving colour quality, and an automatic media adjustment system (DAS) for simplified and precise pre-print setup. The inclusion of Mimaki’s Printer Information Cloud Technology (PICT) aims to improve ink efficiency, streamline maintenance, and enable remote monitoring, grouped device management, and enhanced data accuracy.
The JV200-160 printer will be one of many new innovations demonstrated live for the first time in EMEA on Mimaki’s stand at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 (Hall 1.2 / Stand B20 as the the company celebrates its 50th anniversary year. Mimaki is exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland by Hybrid Services.
