Nettl at Digiprint Bath & Chippenham choose Drytac Polar Frost Air

The film proved the perfect product for the pasta shop project

Nettl at Digiprint Bath and Chippenham recently used Drytac’s Polar Frost Air translucent embossed polymeric film to produce a set of window graphics for a new pasta shop in the local area.

Founded in 1987, Nettl at Digiprint Bath and Chippenham offers web design, print and signage service, delivering everything from small- and wide-format printing, to posters, signage, and exhibition and display pieces.

For its latest project, the company worked with pasta workshop Magari, which has opened a new location nearby and was seeking a solution to cover the windows during store setup.

Nettl at Digiprint used Drytac Polar Frost Air to create temporary window graphics to cover up construction work at a new pasta shop.

The job required an image that complemented the desirable location of the store and attracted the attention of passers by. Magari also requested that the installation should remain in place for several months but be easily removable once the shop opened for business.

As a long-time user of Drytac materials, Nettl at Digiprint suggested working with Polar Frost Air. The film features an embossed pearl finish and is coated with a clear permanent adhesive, protected by a two-sided PE coated release liner with bubble-free technology, making it ideal for decorative glass applications.

The company produced the pieces in-house, using its HP Latex 800W to print the applications, and its Vivid VeloBlade Nexus to pre-cut the sheets down to size ready for installation. The graphics were installed in January 2025 by the Nettl at Digiprint team.

“We selected Polar Frost Air for the excellent ease of install, but also because it can be printed easily with our HP Latex printers,” said Ben Gregory, Director of Nettl at Digiprint. “It was important that the view was obscured but still looked high quality with a classic feel.”

Such was the success of the project that Magari has already been back in touch with Nettl at Digiprint, placing orders for more applications ready for when the shop opens.

“The customer was impressed with the quality and speed that we could produce and install this branding project,” Ben said. “They have already placed orders for new graphics once open, as well as both internal signs and graphics, as a result of this initial project.

“Drytac materials always offer us a one-stop-solution for temporary or permanent POS, branding and display items.”
