Established in 1898, Brook International is a name that is synonymous within the textiles market, supporting customers for over 125 years with flags and banner production. Brook International started out specialising in traditional flag fabrics but in more recent years moved into digitally printed polyester fabrics for flag and display applications.

The agreement will see Brook International’s products integrated into the Soyang Europe portfolio, and distributed from the company’s facility in Altham, Lancashire.

This will allow Soyang Europe’s customers to choose from a wider range of high-quality textile materials. Brook International customers will continue to experience the same service but with the added advantage of also having access to products from the Soyang Europe range with next-day delivery across the UK.

To further assist existing Brook International customers during the transition, Soyang Europe will take on Brook International’s supply chain. In addition, Soyang Europe will welcome Chris Drury, formerly a Director at Brook International, to its team as Sales Manager as part of the aquisition. In his new role, Chris will work with both existing Brook International clients and Soyang Europe customers to help them identify the most effective textile solutions for their businesses.

“We believe that this agreement will benefit both our own customers and those previously working with Brook International,” Mark Mashiter, Managing Director of Soyang Europe said. “Soyang Europe customers will get access to an expanded range of textile products, while existing Brook International clients will benefit from our wider-reaching offering.

“We are also delighted to have Chris Drury on board as this will help ease the transition process for Brook International clients.”
