A new Lancashire based sign company will focus on interior inspiration and sustainability when it launches next week
April 22nd sees the launch of The Sign Collective, an Ormskirk-based company founded by industry professionals Joe Clark and James Watterson. Clark and Watterson say they are bringing a streamlined approach to signage, architectural film and project management across commercial and residential spaces.

“Creativity and innovation have always driven us,” says Clark. “With years of hands-on experience in the industry, it felt like the right time to bring our skills together and launch The Sign Collective. We’re passionate about sharing our knowledge to support clients in making the best choices for their businesses and we’re excited to grow and evolve with them.”
A Focus on Quality and Sustainability
The Sign Collective has carefully curated a product range that prioritises quality and sustainability.
“Our signage and architectural film offerings complement each other perfectly,” says Watterson. “They allow us to renovate existing spaces or deliver full-scale branding solutions with exceptional impact.”
“We’ve focused on products that are made to last, while also delivering real environmental benefits,” Watterson explains. “We’re proud to supply high-quality solutions that support businesses in reaching their own sustainability goals.”
In partnership with JUST ONE Tree, The Sign Collective pledges to plant one tree for every order placed, helping to drive positive change.
“A core part of our business model is responsible, local sourcing and reducing emissions wherever we can,” adds Clark. “Planting a tree with every order is a simple way for us to reduce our impact and contribute to something bigger with each project.”
The Rise of Architectural Film
With architectural film growing in popularity, the team are keen to promote its benefits as a cost-effective, sustainable solution that helps clients meet their own environmental targets while transforming interior spaces.
“Architectural film is a fantastic product that can completely elevate a space without the hassle and disruption of traditional renovations,” says Clark. “The quality keeps improving and the finishes are incredibly authentic – the possibilities are only getting better.”
From the outset, The Sign Collective intends to make customer experience a top priority. “From concept to completion, our priority is building strong relationships with our clients,” says Watterson. “We take the time to understand their vision and collaborate with them to ensure their space is not just seen but truly experienced.”
The team is also committed to sharing their journey on social media, offering a behind-the-scenes look at projects, product insights and interior inspiration.
“We really value the power of social media and we’re excited to share our journey.” Watterson concludes.
